"Kooringal"-home near the water
Overlooking the peaceful waters of Days Gutter, Kooringal house has it all. Situated in the settlement of Kooringal on the southern end of Moreton Island this is the perfect spot for a great and memorable holiday. "Kooringal" is a highset house on the waterfront of Days Gutter with a massive deck where you can watch the sun go down over your boat in the afternoon or just relax catching the cool island breezes. The large grassed area at the front of the house is ideal for a game of volleyball or badminton or you may prefer to wander across the track for a swim or a fish in the calm water.
The ocean beach is only 15 minutes away where you can fish swim or surf in the spectacular uncrowded eastern surf beaches of Moreton Island.

"Kooringal House" sleeps 8 people comfortably with three bedrooms upstairs two with queen size beds and one with two single beds. There is also a single bed in a separate area upstairs. All bedrooms upstairs have water views and open directly onto the deck. Downstairs there is a bunk set with has a double on the botton and a single up top.. "Kooringal House" offers everything you need for a simple and relaxing holiday including:

- 450 litre Fridge/Freezer
- 110 litre Tucker Box Freezer
- 4 burner gas cook top
- Gas BBQ
- Wood BBQ
- Ceiling fans in the master and northern bedrooms

"Kooringal House" is fully solar powered, uses tank water for drinking and showers and gas for hot water and cooking. Relying on the environment for your power and water makes these resources very special and with their reasonable use "Kooringal House" will feel just like home. Please leave the breadmaker and the hairdryer behind.
- You will need your own linen and food. There is a shop and bar/ restaurant called the gutterbar which sells basic supplies and meals. (availability depends on time of year) Bring a torch as there is no street lighting and insect repellent is a must in the warmer months.
- Please note: Kooringal House is a family holiday house and unfortunaly we do not cater for fishing groups etc.
