Moreton Island is an unspoilt location and Kooringal offers a great base to see it all.
How to get to Kooringal:
Via Stradbroke Island
You can take the Barge to Stradbroke Island using either Stradbroke Ferries or the Big Red Cat that leave from Cleveland Point and arrive at Dunwich. You then drive to Amity Point and take the Amity Trader Barge to Kooringal.
It is also possible to get there without a car if you are keen. You can catch the Stradbroke Flyer to Dunwich and take a bus to Amity then get the Amity Trader.
Via Tangalooma
You can take the Micat from White Island(near Wynnum) to Tangalooma and drive south to Kooringal.
